The kickoff of #NYFW was celebrated in a “VERY BLACK WAY.” a quote from  Nareasha Willis (Designer of AVNU and fashion activist of the Black Vogue Movement) opening speech to the most beautiful and stylish guest that attended the celebration at The Delancy in East Village NYC titled “For The Culture.”

The event was created to celebrate black culture, the influence it has on the fashion industry, to unify against racism and bring awareness to cultural appropriation in the industry.
